Veteran Egyptian musician Yehya Khalil to perform at Cairo Opera House on January 18.

Khalil performed at Cairo Opera House on 15th of December, 2023, celebrating his 80th birthday.

Khalil music is characterized by its unique artistic character that blends Egyptian music with jazz music.

He is considered the pioneer of jazz music in Egypt and the Arab world.

His career began in 1966 when he traveled to study music in the United States.

He participated in the establishment of the Cairo Quadruple Jazz Band in 1957, and he founded his first band in 1979.
