The General Administration of Archaeological Awareness at the Supreme Council of Antiquities in cooperation with the Museum of Islamic Art in Cairo organized art exhibition titled "Back to Nature".
The Museum of Islamic Art houses the largest and most impressive collection of Islamic antiquities in the world.
The idea of collecting and displaying Islamic artifacts began in 1880, and the museum was opened in 1903 during the reign of Khedive Abbas Helmy II.
Arts in the Islamic era reflected many aspects of the daily life.
These arts expressed the manifestations of the royal celebrations, the scenes of receiving ambassadors and foreign delegations, as well as popular events, public holidays, weddings and many others.
