Egypt shines with a bunch of glamorous concerts in New Year Eve

As the year comes to an end, Egypt will shine with a bunch of glamorous concerts.

While the clock strikes midnight, there are many events happening around the city, with occasions fitting anyones interests.

Playing music by Strauss Dynasty and Offenbach, the Cairo Symphony Orchestra is hosting their 65th season concert tonight marking the new year.

Taking place at the Cairo Opera House in Zamalek, the performance begins at 8 p.m. Another exciting opportunity to celebrate the coming year is amidst the pyramids of Giza. The Sound & Light organization of Egypt is putting on a show in the desert.

With lights, music, and holographs being projected onto the pyramids sides, the audience is transported back to ancient times.

The story is told on the three great pyramids and the sphinx, and cannot be missed.

If you want to end the year with a bang, then the Egyptian Media Production City is for you as it will house a massive concert featuring Wael Gassar, Bosy, Omar Kamal and Mostafa Kamel.

Ramy Sabry will perform in one of the hotels in Heliopolis and Nancy Ahram will perform in one of the hotels in Ain Sokhna.
