A star-studded cast will star in the highly anticipated movie “Killing Castro” including Al Pacino, Diego Boneta, Xolo Maridueña, KiKi Layne, Alexander Ludwig, Ron Livingston, Kendrick Sampson, Nicole Beharie, Logan Marshall Green and Titus Welliver.

 

 

“Killing Castro” movie script by Leon Hendrix, Thomas DeGrezia and Colin Bateman and  directed by Eif Rivera. This will be Rivera’s first feature film.

 
 
“Killing Castro” will be produced by Romulus Entertainment’s Brad Feinstein, along with Christina Weiss Lurie of Fourth and Twenty-Eight Films. Principal photography will take place in Newark, NJ.
 
 
The movie is based on true events about Cuban revolutionary, politician and the leader of Cuba from 1959 to 2008, Fidel Castro.
 
 
The film is set in 1960 after winning the Cuban revolution, Fidel Castro travelled to New York City to deliver his first speech to the United Nations.
 
 
Then Castro met Malcolm X who invited him to stay at Hotel Theresa in Harlem.  
 
FBI agent originally assigned to investigate Malcolm X is tasked to keep Castro from being eliminated by the CIA and the Italian mafia.
