Cairo Opera House to commemorate the 100th birth anniversary of opera legend Maria Callas

Celebrating the centenary of Opera Diva Maria Callas, Cairo Opera House and the Embassy of Greece in Cairo are jointly organizing a tribute concert today titled "Maria Callas: In Memoriam”.

Greek soprano Sonia Theodoridou and the Egyptian sopranos Mona Rafla, Tahia Shams Eldin, Dalia Farouk, and Dina Iskander will perform in Callas tribute concert.

The concert will be performed by the Cairo Opera Orchestra and conducted by Egyptian maestro Nayer Nagui.
