Acclaimed Egyptian producer Nahed Farid Shawky passed away at 72

 

Acclaimed Egyptian producer Nahed Farid Shawky passed away earlier today at 72.

 

Nahed comes from an esteemed artistic lineage: the daughter of the late Farid Shawky and Hoda Sultan, widow of director Medhat El-Sabahi, mother of actress Nahed El-Sebaie, and sister to actress Rania Farid Shawky.

 

She effectively left an indelible mark and made significant contributions through her role as a producer to multiple productions including "Hadeth El Sabah W El Mesa'e" series, "Lan A'esh Fe Gelbab Aby" series, "Sarkhet Onsa" series among others.
