Egyptian star Ahmed Dawood posted an Instagram story announcing that he has started shooting his upcoming film "El Hawa Sultan" alongside Egyptian star Menna Shalaby.
This marks Dawood’s second film with Shalaby after their first collaboration in "Al Maa wa Al Khodra wa Al Wajh El Hassan" (Brooks, Meadows and Lovely Faces) movie.
This comes following the success of Dawood’s film "Youm 13" which topped the Egyptian box office earning about EGP 35 million.
"El Hawa Sultan" stars Menna Shalaby, Ahmed Dawood, Ahmed Khaled Saleh, Sawsan Badr, Gihan El Shamashergy, among others.
The film is written and directed by Heba Yousry and produced by Sea Cinema Productions.
In the romance film, Ahmed Dawood plays the role of an engineer who falls in love with Menna Shalaby.
Currently, Dawood’s new series" Zeinhom" has topped the watching list of WATCH IT platform.
The new series is directed by Yehia Ismail, written by Mohamed Soliman Abdel Malek, and produced by producer Tamer Mortda’s Aroma Studios.
Alongside Ahmed Dawood, the new series stars Karim Kassem, Salma Abou Deif, Hanaa El Shourbagy, Salwa Mohamed Aly, Emad Rashad, Yara Ghoubran among others.
The second season of Ahmed Dawood’s El Container show is broadcasted weekly on Fridays and Saturdays at 06:00 PM on On TV channel.
Through El Container show, Ahmed Dawood explores the industrial revolution that Egypt has undergone in the past five years.
Dawood visits factories in various provinces of Egypt to observe the development of textile, pharmaceutical, food industries, in addition to aluminum manufacturing, and more.
