After 18 years of restoration, Alexandria's Graeco-Roman Museum is finally re-opened.
Egypt's Prime Minister, Mostafa Madbouly opened the Greco-Roman Museum in Alexandria after its restoration and the development of the surrounding area.
The opening was in the presence of the Ministers of Environment, Local Development, Culture, Tourism and Antiquities, the Governor of Alexandria, and the Ambassadors of Greece and Cyprus to Egypt.
The museum currently displays around 6,000 artifacts from the pre-Alexander Period until the Byzantine Period.
To celebrate the reopening, the museum is displaying a collection of antiques that are displayed for the first time.
