Charlie's play achieved huge success for the second season in a row before it was chosen to open the Cairo International Festival for Experimental Theater to be the first theatrical show produced by the private sector to participate in the festival.
This resounding success, which resonates among audiences and critics alike, began with a project idea adopted by Dr. Medhat Al-Adl and made by director Ahmed Al-Bohi and talented actor Mohamed Fahim, so El Adl wrote the story and songs lyrics and it was transformed by his hands into the largest musical theatrical performance in the Arab theater at both the production and the professional level that included all the elements of the top notch plays. Charlie play is by all means not less than the theatrical performances displayed on major theaters in Europe and America.
Charlie is a massive production play as it houses 30 dancing performances, 40 songs, and 55 music pieces which are very large numbers compared to any other theatrical work.
The creative and aesthetic vision was reflected in the artistic elements of the play starting with the number of performers which exceeded 50 actors and dancer who perform various roles on stage, including acting, dancing, and singing in full harmony.
The talented costume designer Reem El Adl made great job as all the costumes of the actors perfectly fit the different eras that were present in the play.
