Egypt’s Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities announced that the entrance to the Giza pyramids complex will be redeveloped.

Dr. Mostafa Waziri, Secretary General of the Supreme Council of Antiquities said that the existing public entrance which is located on the Fayoum side is too narrow to accommodate all the visitors especially with tourist numbers on the rise.

Egypt's Ministry of Tourism and Antiquites will present a number of services including a state-of-the-art Visitor’s Centre, electric bus, and a tourist walkway linking the Giza Pyramids area to the Grand Egyptian Museum.
