Glimpses From The Opening Ceremony of The 16th Egyptian National Theater Festival

 

The 16th edition of Egyptian National Theater Festival kicked off on July 29 and will continue to August 12.

 

The festival bears the name of the legendary Adel Emam.

 

Ten veteran artists were honored in the opening ceremony including Salah Abdallah, Khaled El Sawy, Reyad El Kholy, Ahmed Fouad Selim, Mohamed Mahmoud, Mohamed Abu Daoud, Roushdy Al-Shami, Samy Abdel-Halim, Noha Barrada and Muhammad Al-Sayed Eid

 

The Egyptian National Theater Festival is an annual celebration of the rich cultural heritage of Egyptian theater. The festival encourages emerging artists to compete, grow, and contribute to the creation of local theatrical works.
