The countdown to summer movies marathon has started. August will witness the release of a bunch of highly anticipated movies. Multiple megastars will compete with their movies in the summer movies marathon.

1- Ala El Zero

The film revolves around  Hamza dubbe Dragon, who can't afford providing the needed medical treatment to his child, however, he manages to become rich after becoming human organs trader.

Ala El Zero movie which will be released on August 2, houses notable cast including Mohamed Ramadan, Nelly Karim, Islam Ibrahim, Jomana Mourad, Sherif El Dessouky among others. The movie is written by Medhat El Adl and directed by Mohamed Gamal El Adl.

 

2- Marie El Brimo

Egyptian superstar Mohamed Henedy competes in the summer cinematic marathon with "Marie El Brimo" movie.

The movie will be released on August 2.

"Marie El Brimo" movie revolves Upper Egyptian man named Marie who sells watermelon in one of the local markets.

 

Marie is a real character that Heneidy has met when he was a child. This man used to sell watermelon in one of the markets in Embaba. The movie stars beside Henedy, Ghada Adel, Ahmed Bedeir, Alaa Morsy, Mohamed Mahmoud, Mostafa Abo Serie'i among others. Marie El Brimo is written by Ehab Beleibal and directed by Saaed Hamed.

 

3-  Abou Nasab

Abou Nasab movie revolves in a comic framework around a doctor (Mohamed Emam) who gets into many conflicts due to lineage problems and the disputes that occur between families because of this issue. Beside Emam the movie stars Yasmine Sabry, Maged El Kidwany, Wafaa Amer, Hala Fakher among others. Abo Nasab is written by Ayman Wattar and directed by Ramy Emam. The movie is expected to be released on August 15.
 
4- VOY !VOY ! VOY!

VOY! VOY! VOY!  is a drama dark comedy feature film that will be released on August 23 in Egyptian Cinemas and throughout the rest of the Arab World on the following day.
 
The movie is written and directed by Omar Hilal marking his cinematic debut and transition from the world of ads into the film world.
 
Set in 2013 Egypt and inspired by true events, where Hassan dreams of fleeing the country.
The opportunity presents itself  when he comes  across  a visually impaired paralympic football team competing in the Europe-bound World Cup.
Thus, he  unites with a group of desperate young men who go to great lengths to make this dream come true.
 
VOY! VOY! VOY! Is the first film to bring together headliners Mohamed Farrag and Nelly Karim, staring Bayoumi Fouad, Taha El-Desouki, Amjad El-Haggar along with Hanan Youssef, Mohamed Abdel-Azim, Hagag Abdel-Azim with a special appearance for Passant Shawky.
 
 

5- El Batta El Safra

The movie revolves around a university professor who gets involved in a robbery and cooperates with a gang called (The Yellow Duck), which makes him experience many funny situations.

 

The movie stars Ghada Adel Mohamed Abdel Rahman, Mahmoud Hafez, Hassan Abouelrouss, Farah El Zahed, among others. El Batta El Safra is written by Mahmoud Ezzat and directed by Essam Nassar. 
The movie will be released in Egyptian cinemas on August 9.

6- Wesh Fe Wesh 
 
 
The events of the film take place in the apartment of a married couple, in which members of the husband and wife's families meet by chance, and many problems occur between them due to the cultural and social differences between them. Wesh Fe Wesh houses star-studded cast including Amina Khalil, Mohamed Mamdou, Mohamed Shahine, Asmara Galal, Donia Maher among others. The movie will be released in Egyptian cinemas on August 16. Wesh Fe Wesh is written and directed by Waleed El Halafawy.
 
7- Shamarekh

The romantic- action movie revolves around a love story between a rich businessman who owns a balloons factory ( Asser Yassin) and a young lady ( Amina Khalil). The movie houses a notable cast beside Yassin and Khalil including Khaled El Sawy, Mostafa Darwish, Sally Hamad and Mohamed Tharwat. Shamarekh is written and directed by Amr Salama and will be released by end of August.
