Egyptian-Palestinian actress May Calamawy joins Ridley Scott’s ‘GLADIATOR 2’ as the female lead  along with Oscar-nominated actor Paul Mescal.

 

Beside Calamawy the sequel stars Denzel Washington, Connie Nielsen, Pedro Pascal, among others.

 

 

Gladiator is set in Ancient Rome and revolves around Maximus who is stripped of his rank and imprisoned after Commodus murders his family.

 

 

Maximus becomes a gladiator to revenge from his rival while rising through the ranks of the gladiatorial arena.
