The teaser trailer for the Cannes Critics’ Week (I PROMISE YOU PARADISE) was released

 

On its official social media platforms,Red Star Films released the teaser trailer for Morad Mostafa’s  (I PROMISE YOU PARADISE), which competes in the Critics’ Week section at the Cannes Film Festival (May 16 - 27).

 

In the teaser we follow Eissa, an African immigrant in his balcony, where we see his urban slum, then he seems overwhelmed, while riding his motorbike on the road.

 

 (I PROMISE YOU PARADISE) is one of the most anticipated films at Cannes this year, and the screening dates are:

 

Tuesday, May 23, at 2:15 p.m at Miramar Theater.

Tuesday, May 23, at 7:45 p.m at Miramar Theater.

Friday, May 26, at 8:30 p.m. at Valbonne.

 

Following a violent incident; Eissa, a 17 years old African migrant in Egypt is in a quest against time to save his loved ones whatever it takes.

 

 (I PROMISE YOU PARADISE) stars Kenyi Marcellino and Kenzy Mohamed. The crew are DOP Mostafa El Kashef, Editor Mohamed Mamdouh. The film is written by Morad Mostafa and Sawsan Yusuf, and directed by Morad Mostafa. The film is a co-production between Red Star Films, Bonanza Films, Sea Cinema Productions, Shift Studios, Film Clinic and QAA' 23.
