CAIRO - 18 July 2017: Mashrabia Gallery of Contemporary Art will be carrying out a collection that will be displayed in July and August, according to a released statement by the gallery.
The collection is expected to include works by prominent artists such as Hany Rashed and Xavier Puigmarti in solo exhibition called ‘The Last Farewell’ and ‘Les Souvenirs ne sont pas a Vendre.’
Other exhibitions also include works by artists Ali Abdel Mohsen and Kaizer, however visitors will need a scheduled appointment prior to visiting.
Another exhibition that will be displayed is ‘In the Presence of the Animal’ by Adel El Siwi who has dedicated six years of his life to produce an intense portrayal on animal nature and its relation with humans.
An influential contemporary Egyptian Artist, Siwi creates a composition based on observation, where each subject whether human or animal participates as a protagonist of the display.
The exhibition has been showcased previously from April 27 to May 31 and comprised of 280 artworks varying in paintings, drawings, mono-prints, and assemblages.
