‘El Kateeba 101’:Epic military series that narrates the stories of Egypt, its martyrs

"El Kateeba 101" ( Battalion 101) is an epic military series that narrates the stories of Egypt and its martyrs.

Throughout its episodes the series managed to convey how terrorism ultimate goal is to stop the progress of Egypt and its people while the ultimate goal of the Egyptian army is to combat terrorism, protect our homeland and revenge for the martyrs.

"El Kateeba 101" took us back to the year 2014 and introduced us to how Battalion 101 works to combat terrorism and fight takfiris in Sinai.

 

The serie highlighted the moment our brave Egyptian soldiers were martyred in “Karam Al Qawadis” ambush in Sheikh Zweid.

 
 

 

Karam Al Qawadis ambush remains the bloodiest and most infamous attack.

 

Thirty-five policemen and soldiers were killed and 26 were injured in a terrorist attack on the ambush south of Sheikh Zweid.

 

"Kateeba 101” revolves around the role of the Battalion 101 in confronting the takfiri and terrorist organizations in North Sinai.

 
The story of the series begins in 2014. 
 
“El Kateeba 101” stars a notable group of stars including Amr Youssef, Asser Yassin, Wafaa Amer, Fathy Abdelwahab, Ahmed Salah Hosny, Walid Fawaz among others.
 
 
The series is written by Eiad Saleh and directed by Mohamed Salama.
