The 95th Academy Awards took place at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, with Jimmy Kimmel hosting the ceremony for the third time.
 
 
 
“Everything Everywhere All at Once” movie had the most nominations.
 
 
Host Jimmy Kimmel has said that he addressed last year’s “The Slap” incident involving Will Smith and Chris Rock, noting it would be “ridiculous” not to.
 
The academy had its first-ever “crisis team” in place to react to any similar surprises.
 
 
 
Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio won the Oscar for Best Animated Feature, beating out Turning Red, The Sea Beast, Marcel the Shell with Shoes On and Puss in Boots: The Last Wish.
 
 
“Animation is cinema,” said del Toro. “Animation is not a genre and animation is ready to be taken to the next step. We are all ready for it. Please help us keep animation in the conversation.”
 
 
CNN has scored its first Oscars win through “Navalny,” the harrowing film following Russian dissident and former presidential candidate Alexei Navalny, took the prize for documentary feature film at Sunday’s Academy Awards.
 
 
 
Northern Irish short film ‘An Irish Goodbye’ has won the Oscar for Best Live Action Short at the 95th Academy Awards.
 
 
Best Makeup and Hairstyling Oscar award went to “The Whale” _ Adrien Morot, Judy Chin and Anne Marie Bradley.
 
 
Best Costume Design Oscar award went to Ruth E.Carter for “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever”movie.
 
 
Ruth E. Carter has become the first Black woman to win two Oscars. Carter, who in 2019 became the first Black person to win the Oscar for costume design for her work on Marvel's “Black Panther,” was once again recognized for the film's sequel, “Wakanda Forever.”
 
 
Best International Feature Film Oscar award went to “All Quiet on the Western Front” (Germany).
 
 
Kartiki Gonsalves and Guneet Monga's Netflix documentary short, “The Elephant Whisperers” has received the Oscar for Best Documentary Short category at the 95th Academy Awards.
 
 
 
Best Animated Short Film Oscar award went to “The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse” by Charlie Mackesy and Matthew Freud.
 
 
Best Production Design went to “All Quiet on the Western Front”, production design by Christian M. Goldbeck and set decoration by Ernestine Hipper.
 
 
Volker Bertelmann has received Best Original Score for “All Quiet on the Western Front.” It was Bertelmann first-ever Oscar win.
 
 
“Avatar: The Way of Water” won the Best Visual Effects Oscar. Accepting the trophies for “Avatar: The Way of Water” were Joe Letteri, Richard Baneham, Eric Saindon and Daniel Barrett.
 
 
Best Original Screenplay Oscar award went to “Everything Everywhere All at Once”, Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert.
 
 
Best Adapted Screenplay Oscar award went to “Women Talking” by Sarah Polley.
 
 
Best Sound Oscar award went to Mark Weingarten, James H. Mather, Al Nelson, Chris Burdon and Mark Taylor for “Top Gun: Maverick” movie.
 
 
Best Film Editing Oscar award went to Paul Rogers for “Everything Everywhere All at Once” movie.
