Egypt inaugurates the 1st phase of Transforming the Egyptian Museum in Cairo project

 

The first phase of the Transforming the Egyptian Museum in Cairo Project has been inaugurated.

 

 

The project highlights the museum’s role and mission as a cultural and educational institution.

 

This is the result of a joint project between the ministry and the EU, with the participation of a scientific committee comprising of Egyptologists from Egyptian universities and five major European museums, namely the Louvre, the British Museum, the Museo Egicio Turin, the Berlin and Leiden museums.
