UMS’s Documentaries Channel will screen documentaries about nature, regional issues and prominent Egyptian figures, in addition to a number of award-winning productions.
The United Media Services launched the first Egyptian Documentaries Channel because it strongly believes in the importance of the documentaries in narrating and documenting vital stories, following the distinguished experience provided by the UMS’s Documentary Film Unit over the past years.
Ahmed El Dreni, head of the documentary production sector at the United Media Services said that the Documentaries channel will display on its screen continuously the schedules of the screening times of its documentaries.
UMS’s Documentaries Channel screened on February 19, part one from the exclusive interview with ISIS Emir Haitham Abdelhamid dubbed the Black Panther, part two will be screened on February 21 and part three will be screened on February 23.

The Documentaries Channel will display a number of distinguished international documentaries for the first time including a documentary series tackling the TV series making titled ( AMERICA in Primetime) which houses the most prominent and famous figures working in this industry, covers the most famous and latest American series.
The episodes ot ( AMERICA in Primetime) provides special coverage of famous American series including “Breaking Bad", which has achieved great success around the world since its premiere.
Ahmed El Dreni previously announced "We aim in our acquisition plans to provide scientific, historical, artistic, political and military content to the Egyptian and Arab viewer, giving our audience an overall view of the world’s most urgent issues, allowing them to know more about other civilizations and cultures.
