File: The tombs of Djehouty & Huri from the New Kingdom in Dra’ Abu El-Naga in Luxor
The tombs of Djehouty and Huri from the New Kingdom in Dra’ Abu El-Naga in Luxor, were opened after their restoration.
The two tombs were discovered during the work of the joint Egyptian-Spanish archaeological mission in 2003.
In 2002, the mission began excavation, restoration, documentation work at the site followed by publication of the research results related to the tombs in the area.
The mission also succeeded in uncovering several tombs, coffins and mummies, as well as a funerary garden.
