Egyptian star Hend Abdelhalim grabbed the attention by her credible performance in the early episodes of "Azmet Montasaf Al Omr" series.
Hend plays the role of Salma who suffers from drug addiction and is a victim of family problems.
About her role, Hend Abdelhalim stated “I think what attracted me to Salma's character in Azmat Montasaf Al Omr is the complete difference from my real character, so I felt her and sympathized with her experience. That affected me a lot during shooting. Moreover, talking about the character became hard for me and triggering.” She added, “I liked so much how Salma’s story is featured during the series and I thought it is different so that I was excited to play the role.”
Alongside Hend Abdelhalim, Azmat Montasaf Al Omr stars Karim Fahmy, Riham Abdel Ghafour, Rakeen Saad, Rana Raees, Omar Al Saeed, Rushdi Al Shami, and Hagar Afifi.
The series is written by Ahmed Adel Sultan and directed by Karim El Adl.
Hend Abdelhalim started her acting career in theatre performances and she received the Best Actress award at the Egyptian National Theatre Festival for her role in Here’s Antigone.
Additionally, Hend performed a number of plays with the Syndicate of Acting Professions which were aired on Al-Nahar TV channel.
Her debut role in a TV series was in Elkaboos in 2015, followed by Foq Mostawa El Shobohat, Banat Superman, Ras Al-Ghoul, and Al Mizan. Hend Abdelhalim is known for her roles in Hekayat Banat, Zodiac, Awalem Khafeya, and El Ab El Rohi series, in addition to her roles in 11:11 film and the horror film The Walls.
