CAIRO – 20 October 2022: On October 23 at 7 p.m., Egypt’s Minister of Culture Nevine el-Kilani and President of the American University in Cairo Ahmed Dalal, will inaugurate an art exhibition for the late iconic artist Gazebia Sirry, in the presence of Head of the Plastic Arts Sector Khaled Sorour, Head of the Central Administration for Arts Centers Dalia Mostafa and Head of the Graphic Design Department at AUC Naglaa Samir, in the Arts Complex [Aisha Fahmy Palace] in Zamalek.
The exhibition will start receiving visitors at 8 p.m.
This important event comes to mark the first passing anniversary of the pioneering Egyptian artist Gazebia Sirry, in appreciation of her enriching artistic career, which deserves attention and honor as one of the most important symbols of modern Egyptian art.
The exhibition deals with the various artistic stages that the artist has gone through throughout her rich career that exceeded seven decades, during which she presented unique works of art that had a great impact at the local, regional and international levels.
