Cultural, artistic events of the day

CAIRO – 19 October 2022: On October 19, numerous cultural and artistic events will be held in various locations.

Al-Sennari Archaeological House will organize a storytelling symposium open to the public, under the title: "The Origin of Folk Proverbs - Anecdotes of Juha." 

The symposium focuses on popular proverbs and sayings related to Juha's anecdotes, by shedding light on his style and way of dealing with life situations in a sarcastic and simple way.

The Film Culture Center of the National Cinema Center is organizing a special celebration on the occasion of the glorious October War victory. The film "Tank Hunter" directed by Khairy Bishara, produced in 1974, will be screened.

In a different context, popular musician Yehia Khalil will perform a new concert at the Small Theater of the Egyptian Opera House at 8 p.m.
