1st phase of developing National Circus in Agouza launches

CAIRO – 16 October 2022: Egypt’s Minister of Culture Nevine el-Kilany launched the first phase of the development works of the National Circus in Agouza, affiliated to the Cultural Production Sector, in the presence of director Khaled Galal, head of the sector, and Adel Abdo, head of the Artistic House of Folk and Performing Arts.

The development works include installing the latest sound and light equipment, updating the players’ and coaches’ clothes, renewing the circus’ tent and the tent’s fence, and modernizing the indoor and outdoor displays as well as the artists’ rooms.

In the opening, a documentary film that highlighted the stages of the development works was screened.
