CAIRO – 13 October 2022: Through a concert set to be held at Cairo Opera House’s Grand Theater on October 15 at 8 p.m., the Cairo Symphony Orchestra continues to present the "Classical Approach Concerts" series.
The concert will be led by Maestro Magdy Baghdadi accompanied by opera soloist Wissam Ahmed.
The concert’s program includes Beethoven's Egmont Opening, LeBron's Oboe and Orchestra Concerto and Haydn's Symphony No. 44.
It is noteworthy that the Cairo Symphony Orchestra is the oldest in Egypt, as it was founded in 1959 by the Austrian conductor Franz Lichtour.
Since then, the orchestra has contributed to enriching the musical scene in Egypt by hosting the most prominent musicians in the world and working to encourage Egyptian musicians, composers, and instrumentalists.
