Soprano Anastasia Zannis, Alnoor Walamal Orchestra to perform in Egypt’s Opera House on Oct. 2

CAIRO – 2 October 2022: The Cairo Opera House, in cooperation with the Greek Culture Foundation in Alexandria, will hold a concert for the Soprano Anastasia Zannis, accompanied by Alnoor Walamal Orchestra for the visually impaired, On October 2 at 8 pm on the Open Theater, in celebration of the poet Iakovos Kambanellis.

The concert’s program includes a variety of lyrical and musical works by Manos Hadjidakis and Mikis Theodorakis, in addition to a number of poems by the Nobel Prize-winning poet Odysseus Elytis.

It is worth mentioning that Anastasia Zannis is a distinguished singer who represented her country in international forums, and was chosen to perform the national anthem of Greece in the celebration of the 200 years of independence.
