CAIRO – 28 September 2022: The first South Sinai International Festival will be held from December 20 to December 28, in the cities of Sharm El-Sheikh and Dahab.
The festival’s activities are organized by the Nile Foundation for Development, under the auspices of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Ministry of Social Solidarity, the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, South Sinai Governorate, General Egyptian Authority for Tourism Promotion, EgyptAir, Baheya Foundation and a number of civil society organizations.
The festival’s president Amal Gamal Suleiman said that the festival is considered important as it is held in South Sinai, one of the border governorates that represent the first line of Egypt’s national security, with a strategic location to attract investments and achieve development.
Suleiman stated that the various activities presented by the South Sinai International Festival in its first edition will serve Sinai and its people in all fields, to shed light on the Egyptian governorate of South Sinai, "the city of culture and arts."
