“Ratatouille” screening at El Hanager Arts Center

CAIRO – 15 JULY 2017: Animated children’s’ film “Ratatouille” will be screened at El Hanager Arts Center on July 21, followed by a drawing workshop for children. The film is a production of Pixar Animation Studios and Walt Disney Pictures.

“Ratatouille’s” plotline is about a rat that has an undying love for cooking and dreams of becoming a famous chief. He makes a deal with a kitchen worker in hopes of living his dream through him. It premiered in theatres during summer 2007. The film received almost 40 awards including the Academy Award, Golden Globe Award, Grammy Award, and Kid’s Choice Award.

The film was screened at 3,940 theaters domestically, debuting at number one. It made $206 million in North America and $623 million worldwide.
