Reda Folklore Troupe to perform in El-Hanager Arts Center on Aug. 30-31

CAIRO – 31 August 2022: Within the Cultural Production Summer Program, organized by the Cultural Production Affairs Sector, the Reda Folklore Troupe will present two shows on August 30 - 31, on the stage of El-Hanager Arts Center in Cairo Opera House.

The Reda Folklore Troupe, affiliated to the Artistic House of Folk and Performing Arts, is set to present a distinguished collection of their most popular dance performances.

Reda Folklore Troupe was founded in 1959, and performed its first show on the Azbakeya Theater in August of the same year. The number of its members at the time of establishment reached 13 male dancers, 13 female dancers, and 13 musicians, while the number of its members is now 180 artists. 

Moreover, Reda Folklore Troupe participated in many cultural and artistic events, in addition to representing Egypt in many international festivals and forums. Also, the troupe has won numerous awards and honors.
