'The Incredibles 2' finally swoops in

Cairo - 15 July 2017: Fans of Pixar's 'The Incredibles' are in for a treat, as the long-awaited sequel has been set for 2018.

Released in 2004, the Incredibles is a computer-animated movie written and directed by Brad Bird about the lives of a family of superheroes, who are forced by the government to hide their powers and live a simple, mundane life. However, Mr. Incredible's need for action and his desire to help others draws his entire family into danger when an old enemy returns.

The film first premiered on October 27th, 2004, at the BFI London Film festival, and was released to the general public in the US on the 5th of November. The Incredibles received Best Animated Feature at the Annie Awards on 2004, later earning two Academy awards and even gaining status as the first animated film to ever win 'Best Dramatic Presentation' at the Hugo Awards.

The sequel is scheduled for July 14, 2018.
