CAIRO – 3 August 2022: Egypt’s Minister of Culture Inas Abdel Dayem and Governor of Alexandria Mohamed el-Sharif will launch the activities of the Roman Theater Festival in Alexandria on August 5, after a 2-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The festival is organized by the Egyptian Opera House and is held in cooperation with the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, and the Governorate of Alexandria.
The festival’s opening concert will be performed by famed star Medhat Saleh accompanied by the musician Amr Selim and his band. Saleh will present a selection of his most popular songs.
The festival runs until August 10. Numerous stars will perform during its activities, including Mohamed Mohsen and his band, Dina el-Wedidi and her band, Masar Egbari band, among others.
