Al-Sennari Archaeological House to celebrate Islamic New Year on Aug. 1

CAIRO – 31 July 2022: On August 1 at 7 p.m., the Bibliotheca Alexandrina is organizing a new artistic and heritage concert to celebrate the Islamic New Year, at Al-Sennari Archaeological House.

Mohamed el-Manfaluti will perform at the concert and will present a collection of his most popular recitations and poems.

Also, the concert’s program includes a variety of poems and traditional songs.

The concert comes within the interest in heritage and identity preservation, as there are many customs and rituals associated with the Islamic New Year for the Egyptians.
