Cairo Opera Choir, Cairo Opera Troupe to present 'The East' concert on July 28

CAIRO – 28 July 2022: The Cairo Opera Choir will present a concert, in participation with the Cairo Opera Troupe, on July 28 at 8 pm at Al-Gomhoriya Theater.

The concert’s program includes a selection of the most famous classical operas, as well as Egyptian and international songs.

It is noteworthy that the Cairo Opera Choir was founded in 1956, and included eighty singers. The Cairo Opera Choir presented countless works during the artistic seasons of the Egyptian Opera House, and participated in numerous symphonic concerts.

The choir was led by many famous conductors such as Ettore Cardone, Vittorio Barbieri, Adriano Grossi, Aldo Magnato and others.
