Various Egyptian museums celebrate July 23 Revolution with guided tours, temporary exhibitions

CAIRO – 24 July 2022: A number of Egyptian museums are organizing events, free guided tours, and temporary exhibitions to celebrate the anniversary of the July 23, 1952 Revolution.

 

 

 

 

This comes within the plan of the Supreme Council of Antiquities' Museums Sector to engage the visitors with the countless national events.

 

 

 

 

Under the title "Memory of the July 23 Revolution," the National Police Museum is organizing a temporary exhibition that showcases a collection of rare photographs embodying the causes and events that led to the glorious July 23 Revolution. The exhibition is scheduled to last for three days. On the sidelines of the exhibition, a storytelling, drawing, coloring and modeling workshop will be organized for children.

Also, the Sharm El-Sheikh Museum is organizing a celebration entitled “The Story of a Revolution” that presents a series of events and activities, including a lecture for children about the revolution and the reasons for its emergence, as well as workshops to teach painting.

 

 

 

 

Moreover, the Rasheed National Museum is organizing a photography exhibition of the pictures of late President Gamal Abdel Nasser inspecting some army units and soldiers. This is in addition to holding a children's workshop to narrate the tales of the heroes of the July Revolution, highlighting their most important achievements.
