CAIRO – 21 July 2022: On July 22 at 8 pm, the Heliopolis Library will host a Spanish concert performed by the international Egyptian singer Mona Burkhardt, accompanied by the Enchanting Melodies Orchestra.
During the concert, Burkhardt will present pieces from the Spanish folklore, in addition to a selection of classic Latin songs dating back to the 50s and 60s, accompanied by the Enchanting Melodies Orchestra.
It is worth noting that this is the third concert to be presented by Burkhardt in Heliopolis Library.
Mona Mohamed Hassan is an Alexandrian artist who holds a Bachelor of Arts, Department of Anthropology. She was dubbed "Mona Burkhardt" after her German husband, Rudolf Burkhardt.
Burkhardt mastered singing in French, English and Spanish, in addition to Arabic, and she also mastered classical dancing. Burkhardt founded the Enchanting Melodies Orchestra in October of 2014, with a desire to spread the culture of Spanish classical music due to its closeness to oriental music.
