Press conference to reveal details of 15th Egyptian National Theatre Festival to be held on July 19

CAIRO – 18 July 2022: On July 19 at 6 p.m., the management of the Egyptian National Theatre Festival will hold a press conference to announce the details of the festival’s 15th edition, in the Conference Hall of the Supreme Council of Culture.

The press conference will reveal the details of the 15th edition, including the number of participating shows and how they were selected, the artists who will be honored during the opening ceremony, the intellectual axis’ details, the festival's publications and the names of their authors, in addition to the members of the jury.

The 15th Egyptian National Theatre Festival will be held under the slogan "The Egyptian Theatrical Director" and will launch on July 24, at the Grand Theater of the Egyptian Opera House.

The festival’s activities will conclude on August 8 with an award-granting ceremony on the same stage.

It is worth noting that the festival will be held under the patronage of Egypt’s Minister of Culture Inas Abdel Dayem.
