The Board members of Egyptian Musicians’ Syndicate held an emergency meeting to reject the resignation of the head of the Syndicate veteran Egyptian singer Hany Shaker.
The Board members ask Shaker to reconsider his decision, withdraw his resignation and return to practicing his tasks as the syndicate head to complete the achievements he has performed alongside the rest of the board members during the past years.
On the aftermath of the quarrel that took place during Egyptian Mahraganat singer Hassan Shakosh apology conference, Shaker announced that he will submit his resignation from his position as the head of Musicians Syndicate on June 28.
Shaker announced that his resignation is a final decision.
The veteran Egyptian singer was elected as the head of Musicians’ Syndicate for two consecutive rounds from 2015 till present.
It is worth mentioning that the first edition of Suez Festival for Music & Singing kicked off on June 24 with a concert performed by Shaker.
