Egypt’s Bibliotheca Alexandrina to present ‘Stabat Mater’ orchestra on June 24, 25

CAIRO – 23 June 2022: The Bibliotheca Alexandrina Arts Center will organize an orchestral concert led by Maestro Nair Nagy, on June 24 at 8 pm in the library’s Grand Hall, and on June 25 at 7 pm in the Basilica Cathedral in Heliopolis.

The concerts are held through the cooperation of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina Choir and the Cairo Festival Choir, with the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Cairo, which celebrates the opening of the Czech Cultural Center in Egypt. The orchestra will present the composition "Stabat Matar"by Czech composer Antonin Dvorak.

In a different context, the Bibliotheca Alexandrina is preparing to hold the 17th  Bibliotheca Alexandrina International Book Fair from July 18 to 28, in cooperation with the General Egyptian Book Organization, the Egyptian Publishers Association, and the Arab Publishers Union.
