Bibliotheca Alexandrina to hold ‘Waste Recycling’ workshop on June 21

CAIRO – 19 June 2022: The Bibliotheca Alexandrina, in cooperation with the Green Corner Unit at the Ministry of Environment, is organizing a workshop for school students under the title "Waste Recycling", on June 21 at 10 am in Al-Sennari Archaeological House.

The workshop focuses on introducing the process of recycling by collecting old materials, such as cartons newspapers, and empty bottles, and convert them to useful new products.

The workshop also highlights the history of recycling, its types, materials that can be recycled, and general steps of the recycling process.

The workshop comes within the framework of the efforts to spread awareness, and encourage new ideas that enable humans to live in harmony with nature in a cleaner, more environmentally friendly and more sustainable manner.
