Creative workshops for children to be held in Heliopolis Library starting June 12

CAIRO – 12 June 2022: The Heliopolis Library is organizing two aircraft model workshops starting on June 12, to develop the creative skills of children.

Entitled "How to build a plane," the first workshop will teach children the methods of building an aircraft, how they work, and how they fly. The workshop allows children to build a plane using a set of simple tools such as cardboard, foam and balsa wood. It will be held on Sundays and Wednesdays of every week from 12 pm to 2 pm.

The second workshop, entitled "Electrical and Electronic Tariffs," deals with the most important topics related to the foundations and rules of electrical tariffs, its methods of application, objectives, components and patterns. It also sheds light on household connections and some light maintenance methods.

The workshop presents a general and comprehensive definition of electricity and electronics, and aims to allow children to identify the electronic parts, their benefits, and the dangers electricity poses, while introducing them to professional and safe maintenance techniques.

Workshop lectures are held from 2 pm to 4 pm on Sundays and Wednesdays of every week.
