CAIRO – 1 June 2022: On June 4 at 8 pm, the Cairo Symphony Orchestra will present a concert led by Maestro Magdy Boghdadi, with the participation of soprano Iman Mostafa, and cellist Ayman el-Hanbouli, on the Cairo Opera House's Grand Theatre.
The concert’s program includes a collection of the most famous classic works of major composers, including Tchaikovsky, Bizet, among others.
It is noteworthy that the Cairo Symphony Orchestra is the oldest in Egypt, as it was founded in 1959 by the Austrian conductor Franz Lichtour.
Since then, the orchestra has contributed to enriching the musical scene in Egypt by hosting the most prominent musicians in the world and working to encourage Egyptian musicians, composers, and instrumentalists.
