Egypt’s Children’s Museum to celebrate International Museum Day 2022

CAIRO – 23 May 2022: President of the Heliopolis Association Nabil Helmy announced that the Child Center for Civilization and Creativity [Children's Museum] will partake in celebrating the International Museum Day 2022, which bears the slogan "The Power of Museums".

“The Power of Museums” is the title launched by the International Council of Museums with the aim of exploring and demonstrating the strengths and capabilities of museums around the world and their positive impact on societies.

This aim is set to be pursued through three elements: The power of sustainability to implement the UN Sustainable Development Goals and raise awareness of environmental challenges, innovation in digitization to take advantage of modern and advanced technologies to make visiting museums easier, and building society through education by providing learning opportunities and achieving equality.

A group of Egyptian professors and museum experts will participate in the celebration. The celebration includes a series of lectures and discussions.
