Karim el-Qurity’s art exhibition 'Waiting' to launch in Al-Masar Art Gallery on May 22

CAIRO – 22 May 2022: On May 22 at 6:30 pm, Al-Masar Art Gallery will launch Karim el-Qurity’s art exhibition "Waiting”.

The idea of the exhibition revolves around the expressiveness of the human face and body, the meaning of art and life, and the blue color that was a sign of one of Picasso’s artistic stages.

It is worth noting that the plastic artist Karim el-Qurity was born in Cairo in 1982. Qurity graduated from the Faculty of Art Education, Helwan University in 2003. He received his PhD on Philosophical Attitudes in Contemporary Art in the Middle East in September 2001. He has been an art teacher at the Higher Institute of Applied Arts at the Cairo Academy of Sciences and Arts from September 2017 until now.

Qurity participated in several international biennials in China and Egypt from 2010 to 2012, in addition to participating in the International Exhibition NordArt in Germany in 2010, and several important solo and group exhibitions at Al-Masar Gallery for Contemporary Art from 2009-2022.

Also, Qurity has been represented by Al-Masar Gallery for Contemporary Art since 2008.
