'El-Leila El-Kebera' puppet show to stage again in Ramadan starting April 12

CAIRO – 11 April 2022: Director of the Cairo Puppet Theater Troupe of the Artistic House of Theater Mohamed Nour said that the famous puppet show “El-Leila El-Kebera” [The Big Night] will be staged during the holy month of Ramadan, starting April 12.

‘El-Leila El-Kebera’ [The Big Night] show will be presented in El-Hanager Square of Egypt’s Opera House for two weeks daily at 9 p.m.

It is noteworthy that "El-Leila El-Kebera" [The Big Night] puppet show is the most popular show in the history of Egypt’s puppet theater. It forms part of the Egyptian people's conscience, and has become part of the authentic Egyptian artistic heritage. 

As one of the most important creations of the late pioneering artist Nagy Shaker, it is a panorama of the popular ‘Mouled’ celebration presented in a distinctive way.
