The Independent, the Daily Mail place Egypt among top destinations for spring 2022

CAIRO – 6 April 2022: The Independent and the Daily Mail placed Egypt among the top destinations for spring 2022, which combines history, landscape, and incredible beaches.

The Independent suggested a trip to Cairo to see the Pyramids, the Sphinx, and the Egyptian Museum, and then a train trip to Aswan, where a taste of the Nubian culture would brighten up any day. A felucca in the Nile to Luxor would then be a great option to see massive, mesmerizing temples.

The Daily Mail put Egypt only second to Florida, U.S.A. It recommended a visit to Cairo to see the Pyramids and the Grand Egyptian Museum. It also suggested Marsa Alam, calling it a “scuba diver’s paradise” on the Red Sea, and Luxor, which is practically an open-air museum.

Finally, it also recommended Hurghada, naming Giftun Island as a destination once there.

“Few countries boast the same combination of stunning landscapes and incredible history. This year promises to be a blockbuster year for the country as well, so if you need a sign to finally book tickets, this is it,” the Daily Mail said.
