CAIRO – 29 March 2022: Egypt’s Minister of Tourism & Antiquities Khaled el-Enani issued a ministerial decision specifying the working hours of restaurants and cafeterias licensed for tourism during the holy month of Ramadan.
Its opening hours are daily from 5 a.m. to 2 a.m., starting April 1, and until the end of the blessed Eid Al-Fitr vacation.
It is worth noting that the Supreme Committee for the Management of the Epidemic and Health Pandemic Crisis had agreed, during its meeting on March 27, headed by the Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly, to extend the closing hours of shops, restaurants and cafes during the holy month of Ramadan to be until 2 a.m.
