CAIRO – 17 March 2022: The Cairo Symphony Orchestra will present a concert led by Maestro Ahmed el-Saedy with the participation of Japanese pianist Tadashi Suinaga, on March 19 at 8 p.m. at Egypt’s Opera’s Grand Theatre.
The concert's program includes a selection of the most important classical works created by legendary composers, including Mozart's Symphony 21, the Piano Concerto, Prokofiev's 3rd Orchestra, and Bruckner's 2nd Symphony.
The Cairo Symphony Orchestra has introduced various concerts that shed light on a group of the most important international works, in addition to Egyptian compositions in the classical form, to shed light on one of the most important colors of fine arts.
It is noteworthy that the Cairo Symphony Orchestra is the oldest in Egypt, as it was founded in 1959 by the Austrian conductor Franz Lichtour.
Since then, the orchestra has contributed to enriching the musical scene in Egypt by hosting the most famous musicians in the world and working to encourage Egyptian musicians, composers, and instrumentalists.
