Contemporary Egyptian artists to showcase Egyptian life in ongoing exhibition

CAIRO - 12 July 2017: Al-Masar Gallery for Contemporary Art is currently holding its 9th annual exhibition, titled ‘Contemporary Views.’ The exhibition displays paintings, drawings, pottery and sculptures, and runs from May 7 to the September 21.

According to a statement released by Al-Masar Gallery, the exhibition's goal is to provide an opportunity for art appreciators and amateurs to experience the variety of views, visions and cultural interpretations provided by numerous modern Egyptian artists.

The displayed works depict the personal lives of each artist, dealing primarily with their experiences of life in Egypt, alongside their social and political views. Each artist depicts their own style and approach to art, adding in unique touches that truly capture the essence of life in Egypt.

Several of the artists on display include Hussein Youssef Amin, Seif Wanly, Salim Al Habashi (Mogli), Mahmoud Khalil, Samir Rafi, Alexander Saroukhan, Hassan Suleiman, Mahmoud Abdullah, Tahia Halim, Nabil Darwish & Khadiga Riad, Taha Hussein, Omar El Nagdi, Salah Enani, Hazem Taha Hussein, Hamdi attia, Sami Aboul Azm, Esam Darwish, Kareem Al Qurity, Tarek Montasser, Muhammad Mnadour, Ahmed Farid, amongst many others.
