CAIRO – 9 March 2022: On March 9, the Giza Pyramids Antiquities Area hosted the participants in the “Top Model of the World” competition, and their accompanying delegation.
This competition was launched in Egypt on February 27 and runs until March 14. It is organized by a tourist investor, with the participation of 50 contestants from different countries of the world.
The visitors were received by Director General of the Giza Pyramids Antiquities Area Ashraf Mohieldin, who took them on a tour of the area, during which they visited the Great Pyramid of Cheops, the Sphinx and the Panorama Area. They were keen to record their visit by taking many memorial photos.
These participants will make a short film to promote the Egyptian tourist destinations and highlight its diversity and distinction. During the past few days, they visited a number of tourist cities, including Hurghada, Ain El-Sukhna and Cairo.
This visit comes within the framework of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities' keenness to support various events, and promote Egypt's tourist and archaeological destinations, in implementation of the media strategy for tourism promotion in Egypt.
