Farouk Hosny Foundation for Culture & Arts announces date of its awards ceremony

CAIRO – 15 February 2022: The Farouk Hosny Foundation for Culture and Arts announced holding the third edition of the Art Awards Ceremony for the 2022 competitions of photography, sculpture, art criticism, and architecture.

The opening of the Youth Group Exhibition is held under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture, on March 7, at 7 p.m. in El-Gezira Arts Center in Zamalek.

All juries have completed voting on the artworks eligible for the group exhibition and those nominated for the Art Awards of the third session. The names of finalists will be announced on February 17.

For this edition of arts awards, 1,460 works of art, architecture and critical research were submitted by 749 artists, architects and art critics from all the governorates of Egypt. The value of the awards reaches LE500,000.
